A documentary film by Chan-Won PARK

Synopsis :
This documentary explores the world of adoption and tells the stories of Korean adoptees in Switzerland. It draws upon their moving testimonies to raise awareness of the complex and often little-known challenges of international adoption, which has affected over 200,000 Korean children scattered around the globe.
Since the end of the Korean War over 70 years ago, thousands of children have been sent abroad, separated from their roots, their language, and their culture.
The film delves into the various stages of this process, often marked by mistakes and systemic failures, with the aim of uncovering the truth about the international adoption of Koreans.
Our documentary highlights the many shortcomings of past adoption practices and gives a voice to Korean adoptees in Switzerland who are fighting for their right to know their true history. These intimate testimonies reveal the identity struggles and obstacles faced by those seeking to reconnect with their country of origin, while exposing a system that too often stripped them of their stories.

Donors will have the honor of being acknowledged in the end credits
as a token of gratitude for their invaluable support.
